A bit of Jasmine

It would rain tonight,
the winds had whispered-
The Jasmine by my window
shook in agreement.
A white canopy covered the brown earth,
as I greedily picked.

The rains they fell..
I sat a little apart
and slowly,
became their smell.

An Indian Summer

I slept on a bed of Jasmine last night
Cuddled and enfolded in the Cotton of your love,
Crushed at times in creases-
Bereft of the gentleness of rain

From some far off corner..of a night yet young
Sang a cuckoo,
In a tongue unknown
Far into the heady fragrance
Of an Indian summer delight.

Bed of Jasmine

I slept on a bed of Jasmine last night..
The flowers crushed and perfumed the bed
I remained untouched and smelling of you..
